After the very cold and severe winter, we were very surprised that today so nice an warm. Just a couple of weeks ago we were still getting some serious frosts. I took advantage of the weather by convincing my husband that it is definitely warm enough for our first braai (BBQ) of the season as well as planting out some new flowers into my window boxes.

All in all it was a great day. The braai was superb. I possibly had the best lamb chop I have ever eaten in my life! Let’s hope it is the first of many this spring and summer…
