Justice was done! It was a really freezing evening and I cannot remember ever in my life wearing this many clothes. This is what I piled on:

Woolen tights (Stockings)

Skiing socks (woollen)

Snow-type shoes

Jeans

Thermal underwear

Long sleeved t-shirt

Lambswool polo-neck jumper

Cashmere polo-neck jumber

Wind-proof fleece

Wintercoat

Cashmere pashmina/scarf

Thinsulate hat

Sheep skin mittens

Fleece blanket folded double and wrapped around my legs

… and I was still freezing. When I got up, I couldn’t feel my fingers or toes!

Now back to the rugby. It wasn’t a fun game to watch. The main reason is due to the fact that as a team, London Irish are a nasty piece of work. They push the boundaries and lack sportsmanship. But justice was done, because we won in spite of it: 14-8. I think it is a perfect example of what you sow you reap …!

Now to bed. I have to work in the morning and I am completely knackered.
